Swiss Medtech Award 2019

The Swiss Medtech Award (CHF 50,000) will be presented as part of Swiss Medtech Day on 6 June 2019.

The award recognizes outstanding achievements in the Swiss medical technology industry.

 

Enter the competition now!

Have you developed and marketed new medical devices that demonstrate high patient benefit, or

Are you developing new medical devices that have already proven high patient benefit, or

Have you developed solutions that lead to cost savings or increased efficiency in healthcare; or

Are you pioneering the development of groundbreaking technologies or processes?

Eligibility

Companies or research institutions who are active in the field of medical technology, are based in Switzerland and meet at least one of the following criteria may apply for the Swiss Medtech Award:

 

Patient benefits generated: candidates have successfully launched new and proprietary medical devices with proven patient benefits.

New health care solutions: candidates have implemented new solutions that deliver measurable cost savings and / or efficiency in the field of healthcare

Pioneering preparatory efforts: candidates have produced pioneering achievements in relation to

new technologies that have been proven to yield improved products for patients;

new procedures that deliver competitive advantages and strengthen Switzerland as a workplace.

 

A substantial share of the provision of services must have been performed within Switzerland. The Swiss Medtech Award can also be awarded to a consortium, which shows how an extraordinary achievement has been achieved collectively.

 

The jury shall have the final decision in cases of uncertainty regarding fulfillment of criteria by the candidate.
